Brian ,
I thought the same thing also but then noticed it looks like the other end may be held up by the wing slider tube. The wing is only resting on the outboard saddle?

Colin,

Agreed, these make great supports. I lined mine with felt just to make sure the added weight didn't scar the skins. BTW - the far end form in your photo may need to be reversed as it should hug the skin more closely.

Don't toss out the form you made building the fuel tanks it makes a great wing support when you are fitting the flaps etc.
