Bonding aluminum angles to canopy skirt?

For those of you that have completed your canopies, would you recommend bonding the aluminum angles to the canopy skirt. I think it would add a lot of strength, but it would probably eliminate reusing the skirt if you ever had to replace the bubble. Thoughts?
