Welcome from Ohio! I’m on year 6 with my build :) my build time has nothing to do with the kit, as with many other builders life got in the way (work, had 2 kids and moved once). I’m getting close to completion though.

Yes the mostly pre-drilled parts, pulled rivets, and excellent online manual and support make the Panther a 'relatively' quick built, you will enjoy it.

Rob,

Congrats on your decision to build a Panther. The kit goes together amazingly fast and provides a crazy amount of fun for the investment. You won’t be disappointed!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome! It will be quite fun and cheaper than the rv8 for sure

I just recently pulled the trigger and purchased the Panther tail kit, and am waiting for it to show up on my doorstep.

I've been doing my research and it seems like the Panther is a pretty easy and quick to build kit, as well as a really fun plane to fly.

A few years back I started building an empennage kit for an Vans RV-8 and realized I don't want to spend 5+ years and $80+k on an experimental aircraft.

Hopefully the Panther kit will get me flying in a lot shorter time frame and for a lot less $$$$

I'm sure I'll be on here a lot doing research and asking lots of questions.
