Re: E-Mag clearance, Lycoming 0235
No Pmags, but I am using impulse coupled Slicks on a O-320-B2B (spacer required) and it’s definitely a tight fit. Matter of fact, I have to drop the magneto from the accessory case and turn it to be able to remove the harness cover. I’m switching to SDS CPI when these hit the 500 hour IRAN threshold.

E-Mag clearance, Lycoming 0235
Has anyone used E-Mags with Lycoming engine, conical mount? I am concerned about firewall clearance, especially the ability to install/remove plug wires, mag end.
Thanks
