Take a 1/4 steel plate and a 1/2" bolt. Drill your holes take you counter sink counter sink the plate. on the bolt drill a 3/16 hole in stall your male dimple die. You are ready to go

Ron , looking good. The slotted wooden block is a great tool in general for "tweaking the angles of flanges etc. two little bits of wood and a small vise or "C" clamps also make a great "brake" for bending small parts. Keep up the good work!

Ron's fix for this issue is 100% acceptable. A simpler mod would be to trim the spar channel to 3/8 inch below the last rivet hole. This fix is already implemented in future kit parts. This is correctly depicted on the plans sheet.

Here is the finished result of my humble start of building a Panther. Feels damn good!
Let me add that this modification was done without prior approval from SPA.
It was of my own design and I make no recommendation that other builders
