Thank you! I suspected as much as the design provides for complete wing removal. I think the engine type shouldn’t matter. The lighter Ul engine just hangs further forward.

I do think the wings make a difference when the tail is down. However, when I mounted my UL350is, no wings, it was light on the tail, but had no tendency to tip over.

Since the wings are at the CG it's doubtful they have a big impact. The horizontal/vertical tail however is different! I had them removed during paint, went to move the airplane by the propeller and it flipped right into my arms! Since then I've had a 20 pound bag of shot dropped over the tailwheel whenever altering CG. Engine on and wings and tail removed, no problem.

Extra weight on the tail when hanging the engine?
Do I need to worry about tipping the fuselage over if I hang the engine with the wings removed? Or do I need to put extra weight in the back or tie the tailwheel off?
Thanks!
Thanks!
