Am I correct in saying that this is a Light Sport Model but due to the constant speed prop and speed that is registered as an experimental instead of a Light Sport Experimental.

Congratulations Sam. I'll bet it was breath-taking. Can't wait to be able to fly mine up there for a visit. Cowling looks good and so does the trim.

Congrats Sam!

Ragnar , its a Constant speed so he can turn it whatever he wants :D . last "I heard" it was rated at 3000 rpm for 5 min, then 2800 continuous. This may have changed though.
Also this does not have SPA cowl on it. Sam was way ahead of us so he built his own.
again congrats and fly safe.

Hi Sam,

Congrats on your first flight.
I'm curious about your UL installation.
What is the empty weight of your Panther with the UL?

Thanks,
Marc

Congratulations on the first flight! What RPM are you able to use to swing the Airmaster? Post as many pictures as you can :)

Can you tell us more about the Skymaster constant speed prop? I can't seem to find it through Google... I'm interested in this same combo (200 HP UL + constant-speed prop) for another project...

Update - just found "Airmaster Constant Speed Props"... Is that what you meant?

First flight was today.Very impressive

These are some of the modifications on the Panther:

200 hp UL
Skymaster constant speed prop
10 “ Skyview, with autopilot
ADS-b complaint, in and out
Custom carbon fiber cowling
Electric trim
Electric flaps
Landing lights
Vynil wrap trim
And probably a few more.

The plane flew perfect, very fast, numbers to come later, sounds awesome
Can’t wait to build a Two place Courgar.

Gong to be smiling for a long time.
See the plane at Sun N Fun.

Thanks
Sam Kite
