There is guidance on the HS and VS tip installation in the BM (final assembly section). It is consisten with what Dan is suggesting.

The holes are not shown in this pic, but I put them adjacent to the holes for the rib rivets. Mine are attached with anchor nuts and screws, but I would have laid it out the same if I were riveting them on. I did the same for all tips.

Tail tip attach layout?
I can’t seem to find the hole layout for the tail fiberglass tips in the manual or plans?
