I have seen Paul Salters "Bubble", and it was the best looking that I have seen. The head light kits work. No matter how you do it, it will take time for great results!

Mounting A Tablet

Post by PlaneDan »

I plan to use a 7" tablet for navigation backup. If anyone has photos of their installation of this item, please post.

Also, how do you make a new topic in this thread of "Finishing Touches".

Thanks,

I found that Micro Mesh is supposed to be very good at this, but it will only work on Acrylic. So, I need to know if the bubble is or is not acrylic.

Thanks for your response.
Same problem here. I'm going to give Micro Mesh a try as well. Hopefully it's good.

It is acrylic.

Another item I used on my canopy to remove scratches with great success is the 3M headlight restoration kit, $20 at auto part stores.

Only caution, everything I tried leaves some optical distortion, so only do as much as necessary to remove the scratch, especially if it is in your primary sight lines.
