Ron,
This link shows what worked for me:

If I remember right, the bend angles are 7 degrees on the sides, and 6 degrees up on the bottom.

Re: Skin bending
Well, almost two years have elapsed since this was originally posted. That should be enough time for others to have developed a method for bending the forward edge of the tail cone skins. I'm about to bend mine and wondering what others have done to create that minor 3/4" bend.
Hopefully enough builders who have completed their Panthers still visit the forum from time to time to provide some input as to what works.

Re: Skin bending
As I recall, the flanges are 3/4" wide. Too wide for an edge roller. And they most definitely get rivets! That lap joint provides additional strength when joining the tail cone to the forward fuselage.
Rick, you can break the edge anywhere there's a skin that overlaps. Makes for a tighter joint and cosmetically looks better. But don't overdo it. Best to practice on scrap.

Guess I need to determine if those bent edges get rivet holes and therefore need to be precisely made, or whether we are just moving them out of the way. I have a edge edge roller and a joggle maker.

Which skins have you guys found it necessary to roll the edges of your skins? Wing skins?

Re: Skin bending
Could you use a hand edge roller to get just enough bend to slide the rear piece under the forward one? Or on a bead roller you can make a joggle to accomplish the same thing...I waited way too long to get a cheap Harbor Freight one and I use it for a variety of things. I do have a lathe and make my own dies to match what I want to do but you can offset a cutting die and accomplish a nice fit for up to 0.025 2024-T3. It also works nice for kydex panels....just a thought.

Here's a 24" no need for 2 of them. They just call it a folding tool
