Not meaning to "over-step" here, but it seems pretty much "match drilled" now. You do have to cleco in place, drill to #40 then to #30, deburr, dimple if that is what you choose, and rivet in place. That is all there is to it.

I am not the authority here, but this is my experience and I am sure that someone from SPA will clear this up if I have mis-stated anything.

Also, welcome to the Panther Builders, if you choose to join us.

Newbie in Southern California

Post by Cardinal285 »

Hi , my name is Gary Peterson and I live in Southern California. I have wanted to build a plane for many years and recently felt it was possible for me with the modern day pre punched matched-hole kits. I saw the Panther at Oshkosh and really liked what I saw. I'm looking to build a matched-hole kit, Hopefully punched to final size thru out. Are there plans to offer the Panther kit fully matched hole drilled in the future? Are there any Panther builders in Southern California ?
Thanks Gary
