Thanks Dan. Based on this, is it too late to change my wing order to LSA? I ordered on 10/27. If not too late, I would like to change to LSA.

Brian,
In General wing, length and engine choice are closely tied to each other and the intended mission. Of course if you need LSA you will always chose the long wing.
The short wing with smaller engines will work fine. It will not get off ground as quick and climb will be reduced. the higher the weight / density altitude the more this will be noticeable. The cruise should go up (calculated) 5-7 MPH at cruise with short wing.TO roll will go up by 20% (or more on grass) and climb rate will go down by about the same.If I flew where it was high or a hot, I would go long wing with the lower HP engines.

Is Corvair 3.0L a good choice for the sport wing model, or should it be limited to the LSA wing?
