Brake lines.

I am using Matco brakes, along with their plastic brake lines. Has anyone come up with a more durable solution than the plastic? I accidently dragged a brake while taxiing and the line melted. I know to be careful to keep feet of the brakes but sometime you screw up. There has got to be a better solution than plastic....
