Dan,
The elevator joiner is a weldment. Look for it in May.

Building R elevator
Tuesday, 2/18/2014, I spent about 2 hours filing rivets and labeling the bins. Locating the parts that go with the R elevator, and cleaning some tape goo and removing the plastic covering. I noticed in the builders manual, a note to be sure to install a joiner control arm. I did not remember seeing one of those. I looked thru all my parts and all the pages of the plans to see if I could find it or a drawing of it and could not. Is there really such a thing? If so, could someone please post a picture of it.
I posted this on the Builders forum, but I am not sure anyone is monitoring it.
Also, I don't see a way to post pictures on either forum. Is there a way, if not, that's OK, I will post a link to my site instead.
