Just made an update to my web site. I have added a Construction Details Menu that lists all of the construction pages in alphabetic order. It is a simple dropdown menu that you will direct you to any topic you choose. From each of the target pages, you should be able to return to the Panther Builder Home page which has the same menu, as I have attempted to add this menu to all Word Press pages on the site.

Thanks Dan,
I was wondering what you were up to. A whole lot of wiring. A lot of great photos and information.

I was cruising around the forum this morning and noticed that I had not posted anything in a very long time. I have been doing a lot of little detail things while waiting for the Cowling and have finished most of that, so decided to spend some of this down time doing some long overdue web site updates. Here is a very long one that you may find interesting.

The details under this page show the installation of most things electrical, focusing on those associated with Avionics. You will see the installation of the Auto Pilot, the SkyView system, most of the components that make up that system, and a glance at the wiring of most of those items.
Here is a look at the panel, after all, are not all these gadgets, the real reason we build airplanes?

To see the details, use the Avionics Details menu under the Electrical menu.

Just completed joining the two halves of the fuselage. It is only to the Cleco stage, so there is a lot more work to be done. I was very concerned about being able to do this, but it actually turned out to be quite easy.

Completed sealing the tanks on or around May 5, 2015, but have been slack about doing the "paperwork". So, you can see it now in WordPress form at: http://pantherbuilder.org/fuel-tanks/

And you can see the construction details at: http://pantherbuilder.org/PantherWeb/Fu ... index.html

Thanks Rick.

Tony, yes of course. I have both parts ready to join, but have no room to do so until I get the wings to the hangar. That is why I am pressing so hard to get these tanks finished and installed. I see Bill up there in Greer doing just that now. I hope to get up there to see him and take a look at it before I begin that process.

Bill, you hear that?

Great info Dan, I used a welded aluminum tank with a cork and welding wire gauge on my first project so working with that black gooey stuff and a real sender unit will be all new to me to. You site is going to help a bunch.
