Dismantling my Corvair
Well, no luck today with the head bolts "as delivered" so I bought some penetrating stuff at O' Reilley's and tried that earlier today.
Figured I would not have enough leverage with my socket handle so tonight I picked up a 30" length of pipe at True Value. A little more penetrating fluid, then an easy trial turn- nothing. Slightly more effort, a squeak and success! 1/4 turn of the nut, no rotation of the stud. Tried the next one with the same result. Decided this might just work, but also decided to sleep on it and get on it in the morning w/o rushing.
