It's an Acrylic Urethane applied over DP50LF Epoxy primer. And your right about Niceville, never thought I'd end up here but it was a great place to raise kids and retire.

Is that PPG an epoxy paint or primer? I used to live in Niceville when I was a charter member of the 1st SOW...good place to be!!

I just finished painting the floor and side panels with Shopline (PPG) and can't tell the difference from powder coat. The color was #34615 #4 Medium Gray. All my painting experience is with PPG so I stayed with what I know and have reducers for. A quart was $60 with hardener but I only used a quarter of that.

Glen,

I've had that happen with rattle cans. In my experience it was because the paint had set on the shelf too long.

Mike,
I'll order a couple of cans and give them a try. I'm working on the spars, and I'd like to put a thin mist coat on the pieces. I can't do that with the Moeller chromate, the way it spits and splatters out of the can. All 4 cans I've used did the same thing, from beginning to end of the can.
