Yes, you should rivet the ribs to the main spar and rear spar before mounting in jig for alignment and skinning.

I understand that the main and rear spars need to be aligned and rigidly mounted (as described in the BM) prior to skin drilling/clecoing/riveting but can the ribs be riveted to the spars before rear spar alignment/mounting?
