Brian Sowell and Sean Sullivan from Texas riveted both of their spars in a total of 6 hours!

Our builders are certainly moving right along and will be finishing up in no time!  See Sean and Brian’s FaceBook Page Here.

Things are going well with the repairs to N515XP.  Getting ready for final body work on the new wheel pants and the canopy skirt, then prime and paint and we will be ready to load her up and head to Sun ‘N Fun!

We have been working diligently on documentation and finalizing the hardware and final parts for the full production Panther kits.  Engine mounts and final weldments like the wing fold tripods and steps are also on the hot plate for the upcoming weeks.

We have just received a large batch of reconditioned crankshafts and 5th bearing housings, and they will be ready to ship out in the next 2 weeks.  The shop that does our billet Corvair crankshafts has added a second 5 axis machine and promises a much quicker turn around on orders.  Once our back log is caught up we can keep new billet cranks moving at a much faster pace!  This will help promote builders who have chosen this path to keep momentum in their projects.

In the midst of all of this we have been moving our shop from the unit we have been renting to another unit within the same complex, but larger and with some office space.  They say it is easier when you don’t have to move far, and it is, but you still have to move all the stuff, if even a few hundred feet.

Over all things are going very well!  Our family is safe and healthy, our oldest son Brett is on his first mini-run on the aircraft carrier the USS Stennis, and we are a blessed family who lives in the United States of America.  Life is Good!  And with that I leave you with a quote:

“There is little that can withstand a person who can conquer him/herself”.  – Louis XIV

Think about that.  We can overcome our weaknesses.   By conditioning ourselves, by finding a different way or by leaning on our strengths or the strengths of our friends and/or family.  We can do better today than we did yesterday.  We are a better person today than we were yesterday.  We are stronger, and smarter, wiser and more humble. Dan always says:  “I reserve the right to get smarter!”

And so here we go, getting smarter, more humble, wiser and stronger every day.  Conquering our former selves on a daily basis.
